RE: CV7 Release Date Theory
CV6 has lasted for so long, I personally think It will just last even longer... So many players are in the middle of big builds and projects, because for most players I know, CV6 is all they have ever known, and that includes myself. This is all they are used to, this is all they expect CV to be for a while longer.

This has nothing to do with going to a new map. I have been around long enough to see this very thing happen, when people have come to CV and started big builds only to find them gone within months of starting them.
DannieL's build last map was incomplete at new map time so he decided to rebuild it this map, only to fall short and leave CV again.
This is last maps...

and this is this maps

But don't let the fact that you have done so much work on it, for it to fall short when the new map comes. Think of it as a learning curve and how you will build a bigger and better one next map. Also plan now on what you want to make next map, it will save you time on thinking when you get there, saying things like, 'I don't know what to build/do'.
