Emerald Brook
Hi there! I would like to apply for village status for the new village of Emerald Brook. I am the mayor, and my two founders are thecreeperking08 and SpaceSteve. Emerald Brook is simple and peaceful, and I believe it meets all of the requirements.

Some cool features:
1. 3 large farms (credit to SpaceSteve)
2. A Farmer’s Market where people can buy and sell farm goods
3. 3 well built founder homes
4. Residential Plots
5. Direction Signs and Village Map
6. Gift Shop
7. Space for village growth
8. More ideas and builds coming soon
9. A cute member house (details to be added by owner)

ScarlettOlivia15 is our awesome member

Here is the link:

Coordinates: X: -4164 Z: -2691

Thanks so much for your time. The founders and I really appreciate it.

RE: Emerald Brook
Hey there _AgentX, I've taken a look around your area and while it does look nice there are a few things that will need to be done/fixed in order for village status to be granted.

-The first thing I noticed is the lighting. There are many spots, including along the wall and in most buildings, where mobs will be able to spawn.
-The gate on the south side of the village should be adjusted, at the moment it's possible for mobs to jump over it and enter the village. Or mining back the dirt around the area would work too.
-There are a few spots along the north edge of the village where it would be fairly easy for mobs to jump over the wall as well, where you'll need to make it a bit taller, or change the surroundings.
-Your member home will need its interior worked on. At the moment it's an empty building.

If you need to reference the village requirements again here is the thread link https://www.cubeville.org/forum/thread-16016.html

Once these are all fixed make another reply on this thread and I'll come have another look Smile

RE: Emerald Brook
Hi DarkElf! I read your reply, and I believe I have fixed everything.

Here are the things I have done:
1. I put a lot more torches everywhere. I made sure that the light level stays above 8. I also went inside all buildings and added torches. I have not seen a mob spawn, since.
2. I mined the dirt near the wall. I also tested the wall by trying to jump over it, and I wasn’t able to. I believe the wall is now fixed.
3. Decor has been added to the member house. A crafting table and furnace were added, along with some more decor. The home looks nice, now.

Thank you so much for coming to take a look!
