Mom learning about servers
My daughter has an iPod and is new to servers. We saw that this one is kid-friendly and we want to try! Can she go to the cubeville server on an iPod? We know how to go to the "Add external Server" screen- now what? Is cubeville.org the "IP/Address? Is "Name" her name?
Thank you for any info!
Trying to help her have fun!

RE: Mom learning about servers
Unfortunately, Cubeville only has a Minecraft computer edition server, and not one for Minecraft pocket edition. Your daughter will need to have the computer edition of Minecraft in order to join Cubeville's server. Sorry!

If your trying to connect on minecraft Pocket Edition I don't think that will work. But if you're on a minecraft chat app It will. Cubeville is a PC based server. The server ip is indeed cubeville.org and the name doesn't actually matter. Hope this helped!

RE: Mom learning about servers
Cubeville is a PC based server so you wouldn't be able to log onto it using the PE edition which I believe is what runs on an ipod. You can get minechat but that only shows the server chat and probably wouldn't be too much fun for a new player. If you do have a computer available you'd need to buy and download minecraft on it before you can play in game.

I wish you luck :) If you end up getting the PC version, we'll be happy to have you!

Yep! I've played on here for years and it's amazing! Everything's well moderated, so you don't have to worry about people getting past the swear filter :3
